Year Round Local Food Market?

The South of Downtown Organization is holding a community conversation and dessert. The discussion topic is:

Should Lincoln Have a Year-Round Local Food Market / Public Market in or Near Downtown?

When: Tuesday, January 23rd, 6:30-8 PM
Where: F Street Community Center,
1225 F St, Lincoln, NE 68508

SODO is seeking a wide range of viewpoints and opinions in order to inform community leaders regarding various perspectives on this topic. Space is limited and child care will be provided.

Please RSVP so that there will be enough space, dessert and childcare for everyone!

If demand is high, we may organize another meeting in late February. For more information, please contact

Luminarias on Goodhue Boulevard

We will be placing luminarias (candles in paper bags) along Goodhue Boulevard on December 24th. Candles will burn through the night, leaving a beautiful view all the way to the state capitol building.

The NSNA could use your help! If you would like to help set up/light luminarias on December 24th or help pick them up on December 25th – check it out & sign up here!
