		<description><![CDATA[The 4th annual Near South bike racing extravaganza,  Biketacular,  will take place on Saturday, May 19th , 8am  -  5pm. Participants and spectators can meet at Goodhue Boulevard, south of the State Capitol.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The 4th annual Near South bike racing extravaganza,  <strong>Biketacular</strong>,  will take place on <strong>Saturday, May 19th</strong> , <strong>8am  -  5pm</strong>. Participants and spectators can meet at Goodhue Boulevard, south of the State Capitol.</p>
<p>Activities will include biking, bike racing, a bike rodeo, bike maintenance, safety stations, face painting, children&#8217;s bike races and unicycle demonstrations, among other things. From 10am &#8211; noon, kids can enjoy free activites on G St., just north of McPhee Elementary School. Kids can also join the bike decoration parade at Noon.</p>
<p>The Capitol City Criterium pro- and semi-pro racing will feature USA Cycling-sanctioned awards ceremony with medals awarded within six divisions. Adult races will occur 3 separate times between 9am and 3:30pm.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t forget to bring your bikes, helmets, blankets, and lawn chairs for this fun-filled day. And, come out and enjoy food and drink items even if you&#8217;re not a bike enthusiast!</p>

<p><em>Plants</em> may be dropped off at 1700 S. 21st between April 28 to May 4.</p>

<p>If you would like to volunteer for the Plant Sale, we&#8217;re in need of assistance on Friday, May 4 from 5 to 7pm for set up and help during the sale as well as clean-up.</p>

<p><strong>WE CANNOT ACCEPT: </strong><em>hazardous materials, computers, TVs, grass clippings, and leaves.</em></p>
