Plant Sale 2023 Recap

Thank you Lincoln for helping to make the NSNA Plant Sale on May 6 a pleasant and successful one! The sale was bustling despite a damp morning, and then the sun came out for a gorgeous afternoon to kick off gardening season. Together, we were able to raise over $2600 to support NSNA’s commitment to help fund much-needed improvements at Peach Park! 

We loved bumping into old friends and neighbors and meeting new ones. New this year, we offered membership sign-ups at the sale, and we had eight new households join the neighborhood association. Welcome!

Special thanks to Southview Christian Church for hosting us and for the use of their tables and outdoor space! Thanks to Westlake Ace Hardware for donating potting soil, and to Twin Lakes Produce for partnering with us to provide herbs and vegetable starts. Thanks to Pepe’s Bistro for donating a percentage of burrito sales during the event. And finally, thank you to everyone who dug plants, donated items for the sale, and volunteered their time helping to make this event extra special.
