Luminarias on Goodhue Blvd.

Hello Neighbors!

It’s that time of year again – our beloved annual tradition of lighting luminarias up Goodhue Blvd is just around the corner, and we’d love your help to make it as special as ever! We very much appreciate Grace Chapel for offering their facility to pre-assemble the luminarias, and the members of Grace Chapel who are helping at 7 pm on Dec 23.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a curious first-timer, there’s a little something for everyone to pitch in. It’s a great way to share the spirit of the season, catch up with familiar faces, and maybe even meet a few new ones!

Here are the details:

  • Date: Tuesday, December 24th, 1 pm at Goodhue Blve [15th & A]

  • Time: 1 to 4 pm

  • Location: Goodhue  Blvd [15th & A Sts] Start by entering Grace Chapel east door.

Feel free to bring your energy, creativity, or just your friendly smile. Let us know if you can join by emailing Marcie.Young@nearsouth.org, or simply swing by!

Items that would help are SUVs or pickup to transport luminarias from Grace Chapel to Goodhue Blvd, and long necked lighters.

Looking forward to keeping the tradition alive with all of you!

Warmly,
Marcie Young, Luminaria Chair, on behalf of the Near South Neighborhood Association
