NEW Membership System: Set up Your Account

We’ve moved our membership management system from Squarespace to Memberful, a dedicated membership management portal that improves the experience for you and us.

  • All current members are already active in the new platform.

  • You do not need to re‑subscribe or pay again—your membership is intact.

  • However, you do need to create a login to manage your profile and keep your information up to date.

What’s Changed

  • Our membership data has been migrated into nearsouth.memberful.com.

  • All current members appear in the Memberful system with their existing membership status, so there is no lapse in membership due to this switch.

What Members Need to Do

  • Create a Memberful login:
    Go to nearsouth.memberful.com, click “Log in” or “Create an account,” and use the same email address that was associated with your Near South membership. If you’re already in our system, enter your email at the “Log in” window and Memberful will email you sign in instructions.

  • Verify and update your profile:
    Once logged in, review your name, address, phone number, and any communication preferences. Keeping this information current helps us reach you with neighborhood updates, event notices, and important association news.

  • Manage your subscription (if applicable):
    Even though your membership is active, you can now view and manage your subscription details and payment method directly in your Memberful account.

Why This Matters

  • In the future, renewals and profile changes will be handled through Memberful, not Squarespace.

  • If your contact information is outdated or you never set up a Memberful login, you may miss renewal reminders or neighborhood communications.

If You Need Help

If you run into any issues creating your account or updating your profile:

  • Contact the association via the Contact page on nearsouth.org.

  • In your message, include your email address and mention that you’re setting up your Memberful login.

Your membership is secure and active—just take a moment to log in at nearsouth.memberful.com and make sure your profile is up to date so you stay connected to everything happening in the Near South neighborhood.
